DocsA manifesto in 9 chapters

One narrative.
One contract.

narr is a launchpad built on a single rule: an idea can only be launched once. What follows explains why that rule matters, how it is enforced, and what happens between a sentence and a live market.

Chapter IThesis

Attention is the asset. narr gives it one address.

A memecoin is a narrative with a ticker. The chart follows the story: who believes it, how fast it spreads, how long it holds. In an open market, the story is the only scarce thing. Contracts are free to deploy and tickers cost nothing.

That scarcity is the problem. When anyone can deploy the same idea a hundred times, attention splinters across a hundred contracts and none of them can hold it. narr restores scarcity at the level that matters. Each narrative can be claimed exactly once, and the ledger records which contract claimed it.

The first to launch a narrative owns it. Everyone after them meets a closed door.
The narr rule

Chapter IIAnti-PvP

Ending narrative PvP

On an open launchpad, a trending idea triggers a stampede. Within minutes the same narrative exists as dozens of tokens with near-identical names. Buyers are forced into a guessing game over which one is real, and every wrong guess becomes exit liquidity for whoever deployed it. Traders stop competing on conviction and start competing against each other. That is PvP.

narr removes the guessing game at the source. Because a narrative can only be launched once, there is no second version to choose between and no race to deploy the fastest copy. Liquidity concentrates in a single market, holders share the same contract, and price discovery happens in one place instead of being split across many.

Chapter IIIAnti-vampire

Shutting out vampire launches

A vampire launch feeds on someone else's work. A narrative gains traction, and a copycat deploys the same story under a slightly different name, rides the momentum the original built, and drains its liquidity and attention. The original creator does the work of seeding the idea. The vampire collects the result.

On narr, that attack is closed. The originality gate judges meaning, not spelling. A synonym, a translation, a swapped animal, or a "2.0" suffix will not get through. A narrative that has already been launched cannot be launched again, so the original keeps the attention it earned.

narr is a registry, not a chain-level lock. Anyone can still deploy directly on Pump.fun outside of narr. What narr guarantees is provenance: within the ledger, a narrative resolves to exactly one contract, permanently, so the original is always verifiable and a copy can never pass for it.

Chapter IVMechanism

The originality gate

Every submission passes through a three-stage review before a transaction is ever built. It is designed to catch the same idea in different clothing while still letting distinct ideas through, even when they share a theme.

  1. Fingerprint

A language model reduces the narrative to its canonical core, a short plain-English concept and a set of key entities, with tickers, hype, and filler removed. Different phrasings of the same idea produce nearly identical fingerprints.

  2. Retrieve

The fingerprint and the original text are matched against every live narrative on the ledger, using fuzzy text similarity and overlapping key entities. The closest candidates are surfaced for review.

  3. Judge

The model compares the new narrative with those candidates and returns a verdict: the same idea, or a genuinely distinct one. Sharing a broad category, such as two different dog memes or two different AI agents, is not a duplicate. Sharing a core idea is.

Near-identical matches are rejected outright, without waiting for the model. A second check runs at settlement, just before the contract address is written to the ledger. It catches an identical claim that landed while the creator was still signing.

Chapter VDiscovery

The library

The library is the full ledger in one place: every narrative ever launched on narr, from top to bottom, ranked by live market cap. Each entry links to its single contract, so the record of who claimed what is always one search away.

The library is a way to explore, not a verdict. Before launching, it is a quick way to see whether an idea, or something near it, already exists. The originality gate remains the final judge: it reads the full meaning of a submission, not just its keywords.

Chapter VIOperation

Lifecycle of a launch

From a single sentence to a live market, every launch moves through the same six stages, in the same order, every time.

  1. Write

The creator distills the idea into a single sentence, then names it, gives it a ticker and an image. The sentence is the asset; everything else is presentation.

  2. Verify

The originality gate reads the narrative against the entire ledger. If the idea has already been claimed, the launch ends here.

  3. Prepare

The image and token metadata are pinned to IPFS. A fresh mint keypair is generated, which fixes the contract address before anything touches the chain, and a Pump.fun creation transaction is built around it.

  4. Sign

The transaction is returned to the creator’s wallet. Nothing is broadcast until the creator signs it. An optional opening buy can be bundled into the same transaction.

  5. Settle

Once Solana confirms the transaction, the gate runs one final time and the contract address is written to the ledger. From then on, that narrative points to that CA and nothing else.

  6. Trade

The token is live on Pump.fun’s bonding curve. Anyone can buy or sell it directly from its page on narr.

Chapter VIITrading

The market

Every narrative launches on Pump.fun's bonding curve, where price is set by supply and demand along a fixed curve rather than by a liquidity provider. When the curve completes, the token graduates to Pump.fun's AMM. Trading on narr routes to wherever the token currently lives.

Buy with SOL or sell a share of your position directly from a narrative's page. Each trade is built for you, signed in your wallet, and settled on Solana. narr shows live market cap, price, and volume alongside the chart, and links out to Pump.fun, DEX Screener, and Solscan for independent verification.

Chapter VIIIPrinciples

What narr will never do

Never hold your keys.

narr is non-custodial. Every launch and every trade is a transaction you sign in your own wallet. narr never takes custody of your SOL or your tokens.

Never rewrite the ledger.

Once a narrative settles, its contract address is final. There is no reassignment and no quiet replacement.

Never hide the chain.

Everything that matters happens on Solana and Pump.fun, where it can be inspected by anyone. narr is a lens on the chain, not a substitute for it.

Chapter IXDisclosure

Risk

Memecoins are extremely volatile, and most go to zero. Originality does not guarantee value. A unique narrative can still fail to find believers. Transactions on Solana are final and cannot be reversed. Launching costs SOL for network and creation fees, plus any opening buy you choose to make. Nothing on narr is financial advice. Only commit what you can afford to lose.
